In India, attitudes towards people with disabilities have undergone a drastic change. Nowadays, they are also in the mainstream of social empowerment. It is always essential to study accessibility and how we can improve it, especially in public gathering places such as malls.

Implications
The findings from this study will help identify the accessible facilities provided by theses malls, so that people with disabilities can use them at their optimum. In addition, the recommendations from this audit will help the authorities of these malls to enhance their facilities to accommodate the accessibility needs of people with disabilities.
